Tees Valley Mayor delivers Freeport News from SMS tugs

It is not only the task of guiding large vessels safely to harbour for the SMS team, but Ben Houchen, the Tees Valley Mayor, recently asked us if we would be happy to do a tour of the Tees, all while he delivered a statement regarding the Freeport status for both the BBC and ITV news.

We were all honoured and only happy to help. We decided to send out our tugs, the Pullman and the Roman, as we knew they would be in safe hands. The News Feature was aired last night on both the channels, and you will see the great showcase we were given and can see the fantastic tugs that SMS feature. Great Job!
