Offshore Towage : Product Tanker Humber to Rotterdam

SMS Towage’s 50tbp tug “Englishman” was chartered on the 01st of December 2014 to perform the towage of a 16,500 mt product tanker from the mouth of the Humber Estuary to the port of Rotterdam.

The Immingham based harbour/offshore tug with her dedicated crew were able to respond at short notice to come to the assistance of the 144m loa vessel. The tanker which was suffering with gear box problems was successfully towed to Rotterdam for repairs.
